Cake & Cocktails Recap

We teamed up with Austin's finest ladypreneurs to bring you one heck of a Galentine's celebration! Put on your cocktail gear (or your finest, comfiest frocks) and groove the night away with the ones you heart the most!

We went ALL out with Gal Friday BakesMindy's Bakeshoptreats, Tito's Handmade VodkaNine Banded Whiskey, wine tastings by WhatsMyWine, a DJ set by Chulita Vinyl Club, hair + make up touch ups courtesy of Parlor Beauty Bar, as well as smooth loungin' and stylin' courtesy of Scavanged Vintage Rentals + Melody's Joy!

Our event also featured: Tarot card readings from Sound Sight Tarot, a nail art bar, art Installations, a love-themed Photo booth, Handcrafted Valentine's cards and more!

A portion of all proceeds benefited BossBabes ATX, an online and offline platform providing visibility, outreach and financial opportunity to Texas-based women artists, women-owned businesses and women activists.

Eastside Cocktail Crawl (Spring 2017)

Last month's Eastside Cocktail Crawl was way too much fun!

We started the day at Lustre Pearl East with their El Camino and made our way down Cesar Chavez to Craftsman for Moscow Mules.

Once we headed a few doors down to Weather Up, the crew had a medley of colorful sips to choose from.

We were sooo surprised and impressed to see cocktail sippin' folks rockin' creative team gear!

So impressed that we're currently brainstorming contest ideas for the next go-around this fall!

Afterwards, we made our way up to East 6th and hit Collide ATX - a chef-driven restaurant and art space for more booze and grub.

We ended the afternoon at the patio of all patios - Whisler's, where we reminisced about the afternoon and sipped on some mighty delicious Southsides.

A major shoutout goes to the incredibly accommodating bars that hosted us! Weather Up, Lustre Pearl East, Collide ATX, Whisler's and Craftsman - you guys are real gems!

We'll be announcing a new fall date soon, so make sure you sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop!

Honeychild - An Indie Kids Festival

We had so much fun hosting our first festival for the littles - Honeychild - at Mueller Lake Park

It was a pretty windy and chilly, so we didn't get to deck out the park in the colorful decor,  but we put out as many confetti balloons as possible.

Garbo's Lobster Roll Truck and Connor's Creamery were on hand once again serving up their delicious eats!

...and as promised, the DIY vibes flowed throughout the park!

Not only was our floral crown workshop a hit, but Slavonk + Hortus Terraria brought the mini terrarium fun, along side of Imagine That Art Space's science and painting crafts.

Our crew of lovely local vendors, including Anne York, were also on hand dishing out their kid and family friendly goods.

All in all, it was a hoot!  We loved seeing the kids dive into art and hang out with new friends, all while we stayed true to our mission of supporting small businesses and building community.

The festival is will be back next year, and it will definitely be worth the wait! In the meantime, stay tuned because we will be launching our kids dance parties with the same vibe later this year!
